Resident Evil

A very enjoyable horror movie that manages to blend in humor without it feeling forced in. Huge props to Austin Abrams, he killed it!

Great RE action story from start to finish. If you have played the games you'll feel right at home. The set pieces and situations are classic

I recommend going into this movie blind, I definitely enjoyed it more by knowing very little going in.

A protagonist who’s so useless that he circles round to endearing. Solid adaptation that’s both horrifying and hilarious.

Lots of clever nods to the video game. One of the most effective adaptations I’ve seen of this or any video game franchise.

Great monsters, a good sense of humor, and a perfectly cast protagonist make this tense in all the right ways. Make more RE movies, Cregger!

Ending could’ve been better but it still solidified the conclusion of the main character’s journey. Zombie concept was more like Parasyte.

masterclass of suspenseful horror and comedy, incredibly fun and campy at times. loves all the fps style shots - a solid re movie

This movie was hard to rate for me, but overall it was fun and I’d probably see it again. But the logical plot holes are pretty annoying

A rare moment where the creator understood the assignment and also ignored the awful fans. Story is rushed, but that matches the series
