Road trip movie about a closeted gay guy and his niece heading back south for his fathers funeral and to face some old ghosts
So emotional. It's terrible that people act they way they do especially to their own child.
A story all at once heartbreaking, heartwarming, crushing & uplifting. A beautiful lesson of acceptance at a time when many of us need it.

Some questionable accents but such an unexpectedly emotional, well acted & uniquely realistic/relatable drama. Perfectly casted & directed!

What makes this film worth the watch are the honest performances by Bettany & Macdissi as a gay couple forced out of their secrecy.
Dark, humerus- very real character depictions. A very human story with complex roles.
