Boy is the much more realized version of this short film. You can tell this is one of Taika Waititi's earlier projects.

Not much of a story but it’s good to see Taika’s style at its purest. He’s certainly good at directing children. Oscar-worthy: hmm yeah

Short film in the vein of the later Boy. Watch if interested in Waititi's evolution as a film maker.
