Heart piercing drama, not sure if it’s rewatchable but important to see at least once.
Gritty and has a lot to say about modern society. Ultimately a very moving movie with a memorable main performance
Gavin Hood stepped strongly on the scene with this emotionally powerful film about class and humanity, with great performances from the cast
Film had great build up with a sad and sorry-for-itself ending. They let the fire die out
It’s a very good film as we can see tootsie’s change throughout the film and it’s got a nice score
The plot ultimately amounts to not that much and in places the movie feels very shaky. Great music though.
A great look into what the SA slums are like, that there a good people who have only done bad things out of survival and circumstance
A dark story with some disturbing outcomes.
It’s send a pretty and nice mensaje to humanity. The music and the places were really good and the story is interesting
Would highly recommend
