I'm not sure why this is doing bad at the box office, it's a really amazing film. The special effects are so well done, and has a good story
Completely ahead of it’s time concerning the subject matter. Though the screenplay could use some more work.

Really well made SC-FI epic that is engaging from start to finish though does have it flaws especially it ending but Washington is excellent
