Eddie Weinbauer, a metalhead teen who is bullied at school, looks to his heavy metal superstar idol, Sammi Curr, for guidance. When Curr is killed in a hotel fire, Eddie becomes the recipient of the only copy of his unreleased album, which, when played backwards, brings the rocker back to life. As Halloween approaches, Eddie begins to realize that this isn't only rock 'n roll...It's life and death.

Blood...yes. Rock...yes. Fun...yes. Have a good time.

The soundtrack alone makes this a top horror movie.

Fun and clever, this reminds me if growing up in the 80’s and hearing about the evils of heavy metal. Currently one of my Top Ten films.

Unheralded 80s slasher that should be regular viewing every Halloween.

Great movie, not a cinematic marvel by any chance but good to bop to. If nothing the amazing sound track should keep you pumped and engaged.

Pretty dissapointing. Weak writing, direction, and pacing ruin would could have been a really fun movie

This movie plays like a Christian PSA telling parents in the 80s that Satan is really living in heavy metal music.

Metal & horror films have enjoyed a kinship since the '70s. 2/3rds of Trick or Treat is magic but unfortunately falls short in it's 3rd act.

Great film and a great appearance by the Prince of Darkness himself!
