Tommy has lost his job, his love and his life. He lives in a small apartment above the Trees Lounge, a bar which he frequents along with a few other regulars without lives. He gets a job driving an ice cream truck and ends up getting involved with the seventeen-year-old niece of his ex-girlfriend. This gets him into serious trouble with her father.

Rating this movie high for the cultural value to the New York indie film scene. Also, it’s better than i thought it would be.
Steve Buscemi directs and stars alongside a great cast in yet, another pure indie gem! 8/10
this movie will give you a new perspective on alcoholisn & on it's face it's an interesting portrait of a bar fly & his local misadventures
An understated, plaintive slice-of-life piece. There's no agenda to the story, rather much like its protagonist, it just is. Works well here
Steve Buscemi is one the most underrated actors and a very talented director. Unconventional indie flick that has a very unique charm to it.
Old guy who's dead inside, the toxic couple, the good-natured ex-mechanic pedophile ice cream man. You've met all these fun local barflies.
Quietly pathetic self destruction. Won't change your life, but solid. Buscemi assembles and admirably leads an absolute bananas cast.
Enjoyable little drama that deserves some love.
Excellent indie drama comedy movie, Buscemi is excellent in this. Worth watching
Buscemi's debut isn't without its merits and certainly has something to say, but the excess slice-of-life scenes dilute the movie.
