Super cheesy and a fast and furious rip off but enjoyable nonetheless
Like Edgar Wright without the comedy or heart; every shot counts, just not for that. It’s the director’s 1st full film & only non-indie film
An early 00s time capsule, mostly for the worse. Some impressive stunt work, but generally an unmemorable mess.
Tries so hard to be The Fast and The Furious but never comes close. Bland hero and bland villain with boring action sequences.
What did I just watch some laugh out loud moments though. Specially the bus nearly running him over.
At least Ice Cube dropped a Westside Connection album that year
Though the action sequences are cool, the movie is a mess.
Ridiculous, even for a testosterone ‘go fast’ movie. But if u just want to watch macho men do impossible things & a few explosions, then meh
Uninteresting, you may even forget you’ve even seen it...
Brainless, jocky, boring, and pointless. Next time save the effects and have a decent story and director
