It had all the makings of a huge television success: a white-hot comic at the helm, a coveted primetime slot, and a pantheon of future comedy legends in the cast and crew. So why did The Dana Carvey Show—with a writers room and cast including then unknowns Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Louis C.K., Robert Smigel, Charlie Kaufman, and more— crash and burn so spectacularly? TOO FUNNY TO FAIL tells the hilarious true story of a crew of genius misfits who set out to make comedy history… and succeeded in a way they never intended.

Absolutely hilarious doc about a great comedy team doing what they do best…which was not for mainstream America. A must-see for comedy nerds
Great story about one of the strangest and funniest shows ever
I've never been a huge Dana Carvey fan, and I never saw the show, but based on from this documentary, I would check it out.
Interesting to think of what would’ve happened if they didn’t go to ABC.
If you’re into comedy in general you’ll enjoy this. Fun insight.
Hilarious and interesting story about a tv show that failed
A fascinating and candid look at a train wreck of a show that no one saw coming.
Once you get down to it, do you really care that this show didn’t last…nope…
Sad to see what could’ve been, but love the commentary by these great comedians
Really funny documentary about a show I never heard of. You’ll be shocked to learn how many funny people were involved.
