funny, sentimental, with an amazing soundtrack. very compelling account of Bourdain’s early years
Extremely entertaining and well made biopic. This movie falls into a rhythm that’s super sweet and satisfying to watch
Far better than it have any right to be even as a biopic about Bourdain early days how he became a chef, Sessa & Banderas is chef kiss here
Dominic Sessa is great, and the messy kitchen vibe feels real as fuck; shame it ends just as Bourdain’s story gets interesting.
Thought it was gonna be like the bear. But I liked the dramatic part of it.
Tried not to let my Matt Johnson bias inform my decision but it’s hard when I wouldn’t be interested otherwise. Entertaining but flawed
Warm, tasteful, 70s, feeling good
