Ellie Linton, a teen from an Australian coastal town, leads her friends on an excursion to a camp deep in the woods, dubbed "Hell." Upon their return, the youths find that their town has been overrun by an enemy army, and their friends and family have been imprisoned. It really enjoyed this movie! Still waiting for a part two...

It's not the best of course. But for me it's not the worst either.

Teen movie meets war film. If you shut logic out and simply witness the film it’s not bad. It’s really a film all it’s own.

Good story, good action, very rewatchable, I liked it a lot!

Oh the things I will watch for Caitlin stasey

It reminds me of a watered down "Red Dawn" but this one is shot from a Australian point of view. A lot less violence is what separates it.

A bit mindless, but entertaining if you switch your brain off

Behind the fairly standard teen drama aspects are some beautiful explorations of psychological reactions to difficult situations.

Teenagers struggle to find comfort and refuge as their world comes under attack. The book was better.
