Seems like a cousin to Pan’s Labyrinth. Hard not to compare the two, but this film is effective in its own right. Dark and haunting.

A hard watch. Starts very good but ends up a bit too fuzzy. Unconventional however which is good in this case.
Ehhh wasn’t very engaging to me, I thought the child actors did an admirable job but didn’t have a very strong conclusion
