Extremely engaging government paranoia thriller w/ great lead performances, not as deep today as it was when it came out but still gripping
Acting/directing/ screenplay: top notch 70s conspiracy film convincingly suggests a shadow gov't. Redford, Dunaway, Huston, Sydow: wow.
If you deleted the odd, pace destroying Dunaway love plot, this would be a perfect thriller. Still fairly effective, if not artful.
