Interesting documentary based off of Orson Welles' 15 years of his life while making his comeback to Hollywood.
An indispensabile b-side to understand THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WIND, but also an interesting stand-alone documentary about Welles' last years.
Interesting look into Welles’ craft. Can only imagine what the film would’ve been had he finished.
Pretty great documentary about filmmaking and fame.
I was never really a big fan of Orsen Welles. Then I saw this film and it changed my entire outlook on not just him but film in general.
Fascinating filmmaking story, let down by a pointless narrator framing device, and editing conceits. Definitely worth a watch however.
An incredibly insightful film that provides an accurate insight to the mind of a man that changed cinema
An interesting, and often brutally honest, look not only into The Other Side of the Wind, but Orson Welles as a person.
Wonderful documentary diving into the production & mindset surrounding Welles’ last film. Ironically, better than the actual film discussed.
Captures both the charm and complexity of Orson Welles as well as the energy and inventiveness of his later work.
