It’s a straight up satire of Romantic Comedies and it does the job well
A cut above the standard parody film. Rom coms are a bit of an easy target so a lot of the observations are a bit obvious

A lot of parodies of genres feel cheap or downright sucky, but this one has its own distinct voice and a phenomenal cast.
Love the idea and it was well executed. Bonus: Poehler and Rudd actually make a handsome couple
