Formulaic, but very funny. Pokes fun at the theater crowd in a very loving way.
This might be the best movie I’ve seen in the past 3 years. Goddamn.
Hilarious mockumentary about running a theater camp for kids. Maybe a little cringey but isn’t that just the theater way? I loved this!
Charming and surprisingly funny for someone who is not into theater drama humor
Overall a good movie, but not funny enough to be a cult classic for me personally. Enjoyed the movie, but doubt I’d watch it again.
Mockumentary take on the classic camp movie combining elements of both in a sort of Waiting for Guffman style experience. Cute and fun.
a.) felt like the thick 12 year old theatre kid i am while watching b.) ridiculous and TRUE c.) oddly inspiring
An oddball comedy for a very niche audience but has a universal message. Genuinely hilarious and heartfelt, the whole cast is fantastic
Strikes a perfect balance of sentimentality and silliness. Everyone is note perfect for different theater cliches, this feels too authentic
Theatre kids past and present will find it funny and relatable. If you can’t relate, you’ll identify with other characters!
