The cinematography is beautiful because “Wes Anderson”,
It’s visually beautiful and very quirky. A weird story that wasn’t entirely a story, buying was an enjoyable light watch.
One of the strongest Anderson offerings in the past few years! Cumberbatch is wonderful in the lead role, no pun intended
Overall, it's not a bad movie. I don't know if I really loved the style/approach with the full narration style
Simply magical combination of cinematic splendor & immersive storytelling. Anderson's touch on this source material is truly extraordinary.
If Roald Dahl could film his books, this is what it would look like. Absolutely amazing.
I’m a big Wes Anderson fan and love that he treated us to some short films. His style is so distinctly his, so it’s love it or hate it.
I enjoyed these, and Wes Anderson made them. You know what to expect from him by now, right?
I loved that it took Anderson’s usual dollhouse-like aesthetic a step further.
Wes Anderson reached the epitome of artificiality (but in a good way).
