Doc about the 2011 Joplin, MO tornado with harrowing eyewitness accounts and actual footage, reenactment bits are cringe-y, otherwise good
This was better than any twister i've ever seen.
Wasn’t into the first half but once the storm started and the aftermath was very shocking and emotional. I lived 1.5 hours away when it hit.
Worth a watch. The power of these storms is so devastating and the doc did a good job getting that across. Very tense and emotional.
I loved the real footage. And you can really feel people's emotions at the time
Harrowing tales of people caught in a massive tornado. It somehow isn't as compelling as other Netflix docs of the same ilk.
An intense look at this storm- appreciate the first-hand accounts. Just wished they skipped the high school reminiscing at the beginning.
While the harrowing firsthand accounts certainly held my interest, I was soured by the sociopolitical angle suggested at the conclusion.
An insightful and empathetic documentary about the power of nature, relationships, and God.
It was a very well made documentary. The most terrifying part for me was when they were in the eye of it, it just really freaked me out.
