A bit underrated... not a perfect horror film, but definitely not a bad one either
Take a bit of extra time and watch The Haunting of Bly Manor. A much better adaptation to this story.
There was a lot of potential here with the actors and original book plot, all of which was sadly squandered by the terrible ending. 😐
I enjoyed the movie a lot until the end- it was confusing and scary. (I actually had a panic attack after watching the creepy credits)

The story was fine. The writing was terrible but the acting was good for what they were given. The ending was terrible so dont watch this.
The previews looked good and the movie was good...until the last 20 minutes. I have no idea what happened in the end! I was very confused!
I scare very easily and this movie did not make me jump once. The original story is good and this did not due it justice. Watch bly manor!
A complete dumpster fire of a movie. Every time it tried to pick its self back up, it would fall down 80 flights of stairs.
