Leon Bronstein is not your average Montreal West high school student. For one thing, none of his peers can claim to be the reincarnation of early 20th century Soviet iconoclast and Red Army hero, Leon Trotsky. When his father sends Leon to public school as punishment for starting a hunger strike at Papa's clothing factory, Leon quickly lends new meaning to the term 'student union', determined as he is to live out his pre-ordained destiny to the fullest and change the world.

Jay Baruchel carries the movie on its shoulders and pulls it off!
A stubborn teen with strong opinions believing he is someone destined and has a role to play, all this packed into light comedy. Good watch.
I wasn't sure I was gonna like it but I ended up loving it.
Fun movie with an original premise; though you can’t help but think that, with that title, the movie would have more political commentary.
I couldn't like the main character. For me he was a little brat and that tainted the movie but hey, maybe it's just my opinion.
