The acting in this is absolutely spectacular, some of the best I've ever seen!
I’ve seen so many adaptations of Macbeth but this is one of my favourites. Even if you don’t like Shakespeare, watch for the cinematography.
Gripping and visionary, Shooting on nothing but soundstages gave it a dreamlike quality that plays well with the tragic narrative.
