Took 31 years to make and when it finally was released, it had to compete with Aladdin. Worth a watch just for the history behind it.
A mishandled masterpiece that will hopefully one day get the home media treatment it deserves. For now, watch the Recobbled Cut on YouTube
DO NOT WATCH THE MIRAMAX VERSION. Watch the Recobbled version on Youtube. Do it for Richard Williams and the integrity of his vision.
Have to give it a good just for the animation, even though the story is weak. Watch the Recobbled cut
A childhood classic for me! It’s a fun yet random love story. The animation will always be amazing to me.
I've watched mk4, I thought it was fantastic, and there's no doubt where the Aladin inspiration came from. Don't expect a finished film.
While I give it four stars, this is for the recobbled cut. Which is the version to watch and you can find it on youtube under ThiefArchive.
I'm rating the 2013 reedit. Richard Williams was the greatest American animator, Disney is too mediocre to do something comparable to this
It's certainly impressive, but boy is this movie a boring mess. You can tell that they lacked direction for most of it, if not all of it.
What kinda hypnotic kind of train wreck fever dream nightmare of odd brilliance is this. I'm seeing a hodge podge of all kinda movies
