You have to like the genre. They’re all pretty much the same. Reluctant hero. Damsel in distress. Super villain. Rescue and revenge.
Another good outing of Asian film makers. I'm always impressed by people who can swing around a couple pound sword. World's best swordsmen.
A medieval Korean version of Taken, Man From Nowhere and others like it. Great action and serviceable story and characters.
It's basically Taken in Joseon Korea.
