Those willing to stick with the slow build up will be rewarded in this overlooked gem from Orson Welles
An overlooked gem in Orson Welles' filmography, that offers a suspenseful film that will keep you on the edge of your seat all throughout
A nazi is hiding out as a small-town teacher. This tense little noir's only drawback is the lack of finesse w/which he attempts his escape.
A very intriguing thriller from Orson Wells that’s builds up a great deal of suspense.
Orson enjoys himself playing as the villain in a post WWII America. The montage is great and the close-ups with dramatic music, kinda funny.
A great bit of film noir. Slow at first, but necessary for a dramatic conclusion.
Cat and mouse thriller betw. agent Robinson and American nazi Welles. Directed by Orson. Troubling, tense. Welles is charming but evil.
Mixed feelings about this. Not familiar with the "noir" genre. Good towards the end.
Great noire with Orsen Welles being a creepy baddie and kick arse director.
It was ok. Just another example of books being better than movies
