The composition of scenes is exquisite. One of the best films I've ever seen
The claustrophobic setting gives the opportunity for fascinating shots & composition, the use of shadows is great. The arcs are impressive.
Provocative for its time and highly regarded, but depressing. Was more culturally relevant in 1963 than today.
