Forgettable and predictable children’s hero’s journey tale that wanted to be Harry Potter meets Timeline so bad, but wasn’t as entertaining.
Barely an adaption of the book and only succeeds at all due to the parts of the book it keeps.
Typical young adult fantasy fodder. Needs better writing
While I enjoyed it as a teenager, specifically the darker atmosphere, not much else is remembered in adulthood.
I hope he’s Seeking a better movie to be in text time
When I was a child I loved this movie and now I remember it was not a great movie
I liked it as a kid, but now I realize It was so bad and cringey
It’s not a masterpiece but it’s watchable
I always forget about it and then find it and really want to walk it
Fine film but meh adaptation of the book.
