So beautiful and whimsical. I love mythology and this movie was gentle with a wonderful cast. It was also bittersweet and filled with poetry
A really well-done movie for what I’m guessing wasn’t a big budget. Great music, well-acted, and a compelling modern fairytale.
One of my most formative films & the first one I personally requested to be added to the database when this platform was a wee babe.
Dark, but not too dark, story based on Celtic folklore. Quirky characters and great landscapes are a plus. Worth a look-see.
Cosy, Sunday afternoon family film. Irish folk tale with beautiful scenery, engaging characters, and seals. What's not to like?!
Calm, soothing, and largely unmemorable.
No matter how many times I watch this movie I can never remember the details of the plot after. It’s fine, just literally not memorable.
It’s good, but every scene has the same dramatic mysterious tone which ends up making it very flat. Unless that’s what you want of Ireland.
My mom loves this movie but I think it’s only ok.
A sweet, fun story. Good for kids and parents.
