It's really sad but this movie stays with you for a long time.
An absolutely beautiful movie with perfect casting. “Send the bees love, every little thing wants to be loved.”
I don’t know how else to say it: this movie feels like honey—warm and sweet, not afraid to be a little sticky, and well worth the time.
Really stuck with me as a kid. Deals with death and coming of age, but not in a dark and depressing way. Very endearing and deep.

Raw, flawless acting. A powerhouse of a female driven film on race, family, and the difference between being grounded and held down.
The book is a modern classic and while the movie misses some of the elements that made the book timeless it still captures the spirit.
When it comes to having good vibes,kindness, peace, and love, this is the wholesome movie I'm all for, bittersweet and beautiful
Love the choice of actors and a sad and heavy plot that made me cry several times.
