Two journalists set out to document their friend's journey to reunite with his estranged sister. They track her to an undisclosed location where they are welcomed into the remote world of "Eden Parish," a self-sustained rural utopia composed of nearly two hundred members and overseen by a mysterious leader known only as "Father." It quickly becomes evident to the newcomers that this paradise may not be as it seems. Eden Parish harbors a twisted secret. What started as just another documentary shoot soon becomes a fight for survival.

Enjoyed the tension throughout this film. One of the better hand-held films out there.

Suspenseful and effective found footage based on the real Jonestown massacre with a little bit of social commentary on the subject.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Jonestown-esque tale. Quick & solid, it does what found footage horror needs to do to sink it’s claws in.

Needed to be fleshed out a little more. All the pieces were put in the right place, but didn’t end up going anywhere

Not perfect (kinda problematic in ways) & some of the actors werent very good, but overall a good mockumentary with lots of tension/suspense

As a found footage film, it’s fine. But as someone who watched the Jonestown doc too young and became traumatized by it, fuck this movie.

Occasionally creepy and unsettling but the similarities to Jonestown make it feel exploitative and leave a bad taste in my mouth

Slow burn, high tensions. A good take on the Jonestown cult

Definitley a film worth diving into. Great slow burn and well acted.

Unsettling & somewhat stuffy. I was uneasy through the whole thing. Psychological plot that creeps you out when you really delve into it.
