Cerebral spy film great acting and dialogue. One of the first movies from the West filmed in post-Soviet Russia. A classic John LeCarre tale
It's nothing groundbreaking but the film tells the story it wants to tell and doesn't resort to cheesiness to keep itself interesting.
Probably wouldn’t have been a movie if the studio hadn’t acquired Le Carre’s book site unseen. It’s intelligent, but not exactly cinematic.
I didn't really know what to expect from this satisfactorily? But wasn't too disappointed as it sure looked a dream come true 4 Pfeiffer! 😏
Tale of a publisher turned spy in Cold War era Russia is fine. Spoiled by romantically pairing Connery with Pfeiffer.
Not really my cup of tea, but the end was ok
Much too slow for my taste
Its a movie
Pretty good
