Everything Wes makes is a masterpiece, and this is among his best. Unbelievably unique characters, visually stunning, odd, and entertaining.
The quintessential Wes Anderson. Quirky and fun from start to finish. Great needle drops.
Still a very good movie, but a little more unfocused than what I remember. Chad should have been Jason Schwartzman instead of Ben Stiller.
One of Anderson's best IMO. Needless to say the cast are incredible and the camera work is amazing
A little scattershot and a few characters remain underdeveloped but Anderson's style is so charming that it makes up for any shortcomings
The cast really holds this movie together. Hackman is great! The supporting cast is great! They really do fit the characters they play.
Touching, funny, and aesthetically a masterpiece.
While I haven't seen a Wes Anderson film I didn't love, this one tops the list. Great cast, darkly funny & heartbreaking, & so quirky & fun.
Film about wacky family, with salute to J.D. Salinger's stories about Glass family. Cartoon. art direction complements eccentric characters
