Of the big 3 original gangster films, this is a lot better than Little Ceasar, but not as good as Scarface. All r obviously worth watching.
Classic gangster movie. For the time it was gold
Worth seeing for the cultural relevance, but Cagney outshines the material. It meanders off into strange directions.
Classic 30’s gangster movie starring James Cagney, Jean Harlow, and a grapefruit.
Such a tight and effective script, and a top performance from the main man
An exciting gangster movie that feels ahead of its time. Cagney's wonderful acting makes Tom Powers a legendary movie villain.
One of the greatest mob movies of all time and Cagney's magnum opus.
This is the origin of all gangster films
Shows it's age but still worth a watch for it's significance and Carney's performance.
Could have been a lot better. Direction and writing are off, but James Cagney is great as usual.
