Its historical and emotional, great acting and great story! If you like history you'll love this
In spite of an unnecessary love triangle, The Promise illuminates a very important piece of history with outstanding delicacy.

Mediana producción, se queda corta la dirección, lo único interesante es la línea de historia de Bale.
This film based on Armenian genocide is tragic and we should not forget it. The cast is wonderful, but the romance is shaky.
Very well-made period piece with some solid performances. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I cannot judge the movie. The history it brings to light is too sad. Also sad that global history only remembers some genocides.
