The Picture of Dorian Gray

i think that the most similar version of dorian gray, as imagined by oscar wilde, is in this film

Interesting, thought provoking. The book was quite controversial so this is probably watered down, still worth a watch.

Watched this right after reading the novel. A fairly faithful adaptation. Angela Lansbury dazzles as Sibyl.

Much like the title character, this film looks innocuous at first glance, but is one of the creepiest things I’ve ever seen. Unforgettable.

Great adaptation. That painting is amazing!!

The portrait, often shown in color, is breathtaking. But the film fails in its horrors as it's mostly "trust the painting: he's been bad."

it is very interesting and somehow sad
