I wouldn’t say don’t waste your time on it. It’s not a films you’ll watch more than once and Lakeith Stanfield is as solid as always
I adore Issa, but this movie was plain. It was supposed to be a drama and it was nothing more than slow romance, that left me unsatisfied.
Amazing love story within a love story. Beautifully acted and an amazing soundtrack to boot.
I always love Lakeith and Issa, but this didn't really do it for me. Still a very good movie, but definitely feels too staged.
A underrated romance film that is very charming & yet can be bland at times but still very enjoyable, Stanfield & Rae have strong chemistry.
Dull romance offering zero chemistry, blaringly loud, random smooth jazz, awkward acting from Issa Rae and her perpetually surprised look.
Great romance with some amazing cinematography.
It was ok, the chemistry wasn’t genuine. Issa Rae continuously had a shocked face... kinda like a confused dolphin.
