Really fun watch, loads of great performances from a stacked cast. Costumes are a delight.
I expected more from this movie, it felt rushed without a clear objective.
Ianucci is the perfect director for this material finding the whimsy and the satire without dumbing down the rich story.
I’ve not read the book so I can’t compare, but it’s brighter & more colorful (not meaning the people but that’s true too) than most Dickens
Oddly paced, but a joy and a delight to watch!
I loved it! It was a visually gorgeous movie and it made me feel very happy. It was endearing to say the least.
Fun, fast-paced, completely engaging and a superb cast... Seriously, what an awesome cast!
Whirlwind adaptation of a 624-page Dickens novel is enjoyable for the stylistic flourishes and sprightly performances.
Funny, fast, beautiful, well acted and exceptionally edited.
Don't understand the low score! I really enjoyed this. Dev Patel is excellent. Good, feelgood, escapist fun.
