Fantastic view of a crazy time. Fandom at its very best and its very worst.
If you’ve heard that Kendrick Lamar song where it starts with him screaming in agony, that’s what I felt watching this. It aged like milk.
Mostly just a bunch of fans bitching about generally irrelevant stuff. Also Francis Ford Coppola is in it?
2 hours of whining about Jar Jar Binks. Not even entertaining as a social snapshot.
If you still feel burned by the Star Wars prequels, this one is for you.
Poses a really interesting question and explores both sides reasonably well, but it sometimes seems scared to pursue answers more thoroughly
Gives a lot of context to how and why Star Wars fans feel the way they feel. A nonessential documentary but a decent watch
George Lucas is overrated and full of himself. He wasn't in an enviable position, granted.
A very honest film celebrating the highs and lows and fandom.
A well done documentary that tells both sides of the story fairly. Worth a watch even if you're not a star wars fan
