Wonderful, forgotten conspiracy thriller. If you've enjoyed All The President's Men, you'll love this (both directed by Alan Pakula)
A plot considered implausible when released, today this film about programming people to assassinate politicians is very real and scarier.
A solid conspiracy thriller with a hefty dose of paranoid atmosphere and a winning performance from Beatty.
Great tension in the first and last half but the middle part struggles to hold interest. Chilling ending.
The suspense created during the last 30 minutes is very enjoyable, but there isn't a huge amount that would entice me to re-watch.
The plot feels a little muddled which takes away from the tension. Just isn't as compelling as it should be.
It’s probably the king of all of the 70’s conspiracy thrillers with Beatty giving one of his best performances.
Excellent 70s thriller
