Whilst a bit off Eggers' previous two films especially WW, still an intriguing & brutal take on Viking.
Not exactly what I expected, somewhere between midsommar folksy horror and last kingdom redemption story. Overall good watch
The story is one we have all heard before, but the execution is breathtaking.
Loved the cinematography. A little too gory for me but I loved the artistic vision.
Hamlet for Vikings. Very enjoyable and filmed in that certain Eggers style. A little less action than expected, but still held my attention.
Beautiful. Epic. Ruthless. Scandinavian/ Norse mythology executed perfectly. The unofficial prequel to Midsommar. A24 better keep this up.
Very dark movie about revenge. Has a heavy atmosphere. Wasn't the best story, but still enjoyed it. Some very odd scenes. Overall decent.
It's like watching an old tale told around a fire and that's fantastic. But be prepared for some gruesomeness
