While filing for a divorce, beautiful ex-stripper Roslyn Taber ends up meeting aging cowboy-turned-gambler Gay Langland and former World War II aviator Guido Racanelli. The two men instantly become infatuated with Roslyn and, on a whim, the three decide to move into Guido's half-finished desert home together. When grizzled ex-rodeo rider Perce Howland arrives, the unlikely foursome strike up a business capturing wild horses.

Marilyn’s acting in this was so good and the movie was very interesting.

A brilliant depiction of the dark, sad, desperate corners of the human condition. One of the best acted films of all time.

Kind of a downer given bts events, but a great sendoff to Gable and Monroe in its way.

Marilyn kills her dumb blonde stereotype in this film with her acting and new character development. Her final film.

Marilyn touched my heart with her stunning performance of the saddest girl I've ever met.

Script excellent. Some great oneliners. Beautifully lit, especially for b&w. A tad sexist. These 3 with Marilyn are so pitiful. Well acted.

It’s ok,but it hurts me to see that Monroe and Clift’s acting are not great as they usually were
