This breathtaking film swept me off my feet and landed me in middle earth. A dazzling standalone worth seeing on the big screen.
Neat animation and solid action sequences.
Beautifully animated tale of Middle Earth. If you enjoyed the animated Hobbit and Lord of the Rings when you were young, give this a watch.
animation is breathtaking the story is outstanding it pays its respects to the pj trilogy and doesn’t try to change the story fans love

Awful storyline full of clumsy plot devices. Not in the spirit of the lore of Middle Earth (at times outright inconsistent). Nice animation.
Great seeing Peter Jacksons Middle Earth vision return, even though it gets caught up in modern ideologies.
It’s just so average. Meh story. Meh characters. Meh animation. Good enough to watch but not good enough to be all that memorable.
Solid prequel that fleshes out the lore of Rohan within the context of Peter Jackson's trilogy. Nicely animated and well acted.
6/10 in my book. The story was compelling, but it’s VERY apparent the animators needed more time 😅
