Super funny, but later half of the movie, the humor began to fizzle a bit. Still worth watching
One of the last of Steve Martin's 'dumb guy' roles, before he made the transition to leading man. Enough silly gags to keep you entertained.
Shifted between a truly lonely guy and juvenile SNL humor. Didn't sustain a consistent tone or storyline.
Worthwhile for a laugh or two. Dated and depressing mostly though.
Its been very long decades since I rented this out from a hire shop! Recall it being a gentle, bittersweet rom-com Sunday ironing film!
