Though it suffers from early pacing issues, it’s a strong “debut” for Hitch that features early “prototypes” of his hallmarks.
Great silent film with a complex, yet understandable plot.
Very enjoyable once I locked up my phone.
It's an early Hitchcock, which is why I watched. I'm generally not a fan of silents since mugging is such a necessity, but this one's fine.
Ok movie, a bit unsettling following the formerly unknown Jack the Ripper as a lodger in a family's home. Not dark or uncomfortable enough
