So adorable and sad! I watched this when I was 4 and always remembered it but couldn't remember the name until this year! Still just as good

My favorite film adaptation of the story. It's quick and easy to understand, plus Shirley Temple is always such a joy to watch on screen.

I watched it as a child a lot. And even then I remember feeling a sense of sadness and comfort. Definitely want to rewatch it now.

A classic that it's not for me. At least not any longer.
