Well-told story; avoids leading you by the nose, but isn't cloyingly cryptic. Doesn't take a sledgehammer to its sensitive subject matter.
Apocalypse but make it soggy. Mysticism hits, clarity doesn't. Cool ideas, lost in the rain.
Some good acting and beautiful locations but has a bland, forgettable story beyond its initial promising premise
It’s been a long time, and I’m not entirely convinced I saw the whole thing, but the imagery I do remember is POWERFUL.
Prequel to The Leftovers.
