Truffaut said "theatre kids vs Nazis" and honestly… slayed.

Not one of my favorites from Truffaut, but there are some good performances in here

A slow burn, but that gives time for a lot of character development. Love the setting and the stories about directors always intrigue me.

The contrast between this cold characters in the crazy 40s Paris ocupation, mixed with the visuals and an impecable use of color...stunning
