My face the entire time watching this was like that meme of Michael Scott grimacing from The Office.
Very good movie! Makes you feel uneasy, but you also understand the characters POV.
Beautifully shot and well acted, it evolves into a slow, subtle dissonance.
Not what I expected. You will likely be filled with unease and discomfort for the duration of the film.

Gylenhaal shows vs. tells. Scene after scene is expertly framed: the jungle gym shot that doesn't pan from the ground. Conversation fuel.
This movie was kind of weird but it really had me emotionally involved.
Maggie Gyllenhaal is amazing. One of the most underrated movies of 2018.
Pretty good story up until the last act, when its absolute brilliance became clear. Marred only by the non-organic feel of the child actor.
