Casey Affleck is an awful actor and this movie was just boring with too much emphasis on the aesthetic.
This is a violent and often brutal thriller that wasn't for me.
A compelling portrait of a psychopath, undoubtedly brutal and dark
I could not finish this film despite its interesting premise and talented cast. It was pretty unsettling and disturbing at times.
I mostly remember the gratuitous violence that stopped me from caring about the plot.
Really great acting and palpable tension. The story is very simple and not super rewatchable
Polarizing and hard to watch for most people but brilliantly acted and brilliantly written.
It's just all kinds of yucky and also super boring. That's a fatal combination.
There is a couple reason I didn't like this movie
Great adaptation of the book. Casey Affleck does a good job. Good noir film.
