The Killer

Methodical and monotonous thriller that languishes in dreary settings. Action sequences are great, with one of the best fights in a while.

Would have been amazing if it wasn't for so much of The Smiths music.

Camerawork and fight scenes were amazing. Loved the inner dialogue. Didn’t love the ending. Watch for technical aspects, not for the plot.

Fincher’s lighting and sharpness behind the camera is once again astounding. Walker’s script has some questionable moments but good overall.

Impeccable craft applied to a seemingly simple story… Though if you peel the onion back, you’ll discover it’s more complex than you thought.

Ok if you like the moody lone wolf killer genre. Nothing special. Ending left me unfulfilled. A one time watch.

Not as intense as I was hoping except for one or two scenes. Not even too much action. An easy to watch movie.

Such an excellent dark Assassin noir thriller at it finest with a twisted story, plus a fantastic performance from Fassbender as the lead.

I would give 4 stars as its Fincher. But I can see its not going to be everyone's bag. I read the comic, so it's a good adaptation. Stylish!

On the surface, very cold and unfeeling. Underneath, very funny and tongue-in-cheek. One of the most interesting movies of the year.
