Strong cast and an engaging plot, but it leaves you wishing it had gone further with its moral dilemmas.
It feels like a really solid episode of a HBO show I will take no further questions
An engaging thriller that has interesting and honest take on modern politics. Cynicism and hypocrisy are explored earnestly. Well made film.
A brilliantly written film full of snappy dialogue that shows the behind-the-scenes corruption of political campaigns.
Good political drama movie, well made and acted. Worth watching
Powerful political drama, but drags in the first half.
All the talent (Clooney, Hoffman, Giamatti, Gosling) is underserved by a weak heavy-handed script. Better as a miniseries or tighter script
These two leads keep the movie going at all cylinders. They are a perfect counter part to each other. The story also has great reveals.
Great story and characters. Very intense and times. Done very well.
Star studded. It underwhelms despite really good performances.
